You know the name Pininfarina for its achievements in automotive design, bicycles and even tractors, but did you know that this Italian house does not stop at the racy lines of fast cars, its best-known works, but it has also been making a name for itself in architecture for a number of years already!
It should be noted that Pininfarina has won several international architectural awards, including its most recent: the 2016 International Architecture Award for the Control Tower of the new Istanbul Airport; the 2016 iF Design award awarded to Cyrela, with this Pininfarina skyscraper, whose accelerated construction can be seen on these images, and the 2015 American Architecture Award awarded to Vitra, a Pininfarina design for Pasqualotto. Pininfarina has also been confirmed 5th in the ranking of the 100 best architecture and design companies operating in Italy.
Completed in 2018, residents of Sao Paulo were able to discover the curved lines of the Cyrela project, the first residential tower by Pininfarina in Brazil. A real exercise of architectural symmetry, while remaining soft, which gives the impression that the building was carved by the wind. According to Pininfarina, the curves aim to translate the "movement and dynamism" of a modern metropolis.
Like each Pininfarina project, everything has been thought out down to the last detail: from the selection of raw materials to options and leisure services. Built by the Brazilian construction company Cyrela, the tower includes apartments with carefully thought out sizes, as well as common areas and facilities such as swimming pools or a gym.
Today, the Italian house is presenting a new project of luxury architecture with Cyrela. Its name? Heritage. A unique residential tower that will be built in one of the most prestigious places of São Paulo, nicknamed the "Manhattan circuit".
Once again, it’s a dynamic design inspired by the shape of a speedform. This exceptional tower will span 32 floors and will include 31 spacious apartments with one unit per floor, ranging from 570 m2 to 700 m2. Each apartment will have large balconies. The new Pininfarina project aims to become the benchmark of luxury design in Brazil and to offer the market something new, cutting-edge and unique.
In the popular street Leopoldo Couto Magalhaes Junior in the Itaim Bibi neighbourhood, the project under construction combines elegance and fluidity.
A project that will become the residential reference of the city of São Paulo for the next decade and which, as with each achievement of Pininfarina, will inspire new generations of designers...
